Please keep making original content. Please. Bands, make new original music that’s not a direct rip off of something else. Movie directors, please keep making new ideas not just IP crap and franchise trash. TV Directors, please keep pushing the medium with new creative ideas. Its necessary. 

Watch Pluribus. Please. Don’t watch any trailers. I won’t spoil it. Just go watch it. It’s the new Apple TV show from Vince Gilligan (X-Files, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul) and stars Rhea Seahorn. I haven’t watched a show like this in a long while. New. Original. Surprising. Well-crafted. I’m stoked

It’s really important for our worldwide society to keep producing creative new innovative THINGS. Art. Music. TV. Movies. Anywhere we can express ourselves creatively. We need it so bad. 

I also watched Mare of Easttown this past week. Show ruled. Kate Winslet, the greatest. 

Final thought on originality. It’s really important to be original or else you run the risk of being a cheap imitation. Musically, I was talking to Nicky Long Island (from Godseyes) this week and we chatted about the pitfalls of trying to copy someone’s vocal style. If I tried to be Keith Buckley, or Josh Scogin, I’d end up being a bad Austin Visser. Gotta stay fresh!!!

ROCK SHOWS

We just announced what should be our final 2025 show. Brick x Brick w/ Secrets. I’ll be honest, I’m not familiar but we’re excited to play one final show. Come hang out. 

April 2026 shows - got some fun fun fun progress to share soon on what we’re working on in April. Not to be coy, I just don’t wanna say stuff if it doesn’t happen.
