Happy Holidays?

Just FYI - you shouldn’t put up Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving. If I was in charge, it wouldn’t be allowed. I talked to a friend who DID put up lights a couple weeks ago and a storm hit right before Thanksgiving, knocking down some of the inflatables. I think even God(seyes) agrees with the “no-xmas-decos-before-thanksgiving” thought process. 

Hey! Hope you are well. Gonna start by acknowledging the difficulties of this time or year while also celebrating the importance of the Holiday season. We don’t need to get into here but this season can be tough for some (loss, depression, etc etc). If you need anything, feel free to reach out to us! Join our discord and have at it! 

We’re closing out the year by releasing an EP (Friday). And playing a show on Friday, December 19 at Brick by Brick. It’s not that hard to show up. Just make it happen. 

Shows: I’ve tried really hard to log as many movies as possible this year on Letterbox. I’ll write up a year end list in the upcoming weeks. I saw Wake Up Dead Man, Zootopia 2 and Train Dreams over the break. 

I also… watched Stranger Things S5. I try not to yuck others yums, but I’m just NOT vibing with the new episodes. They fill simultaneously rushed and extrcutiatingly slow. Bad writing mixed with bad acting mixed with needing to fill in too many “Lost-esque” questions. I don’t know. I can’t figure it out. Sooooooooo, I went back and watched the pilot. And that pilot has the sauce. Not sure if the Duffers lost it over time or if I’m just not the target anymore. Who knows. No one can know. 

MCU update - We did Spider-Man 3, Loki S1 and Zombie Doctor Strange. I didn’t tell Henry that Zombie Doctor Strange was scary - he said “I’m not really liking all these jump scares” OOPS! Haha. I don’t like Zombie Strange but that last 30 minutes where Strange does turn into a Zombie is some of my favorite Marvel. Regina George yelling “Go back to hell” to a demon that just came out of Doctor Strange’s eyeball with a fire ball gets me going. Thor 4, Loki S2, Hawkeye and GoTG Holiday Special are up next. 

Band Updates - we are mulling over getting stubborn and doing an album. We’ll see. I’ve teased it for a while so at some point, I can hear Mr Blonde scold me - “are you gonna bark all day little doggy? Or are you gonna bite?”

Let’s write an album!
