Step 1: Apologize

I need to issue an apology. Once in a while, I say things that are hurtful and I need to own that it’s not okay. The only way to move forward is being transparent. I’m sorry for saying that [redacted] was a bad [redacted].

Our opinions even got us a Lambgoat article.

Hey - how’s everyone doing? We feeling alright? School’s about to start up. Summers almost over. Summer ends up being a weird time for the band ‘cause our kids being out of school actually limits what we can do! When the kids are in school, there’s not as much childcare needed. Ugh, I can only imagine being 19 again and using the whole summer to tour the country. Would be sick.

We’ve been in inventory mode lately. Obviously with the mystery merch sale going on, but also with shows and songs. We have 4 more songs to be released. Next one comes out September 12. We are tracking down a couple new shows. Local and close to local. Annnnd we’re probably going to do a new batch of shirts soon to coincide with the new songs. Be on the lookout. We are really trying to push hard over the next year. Part of the push is being wise with what we have. and where we spend our resources.

A couple quick hitters:

Touch Dirt is about to cross over 10k streams on Spotify. Go give it a spin if you have a chance. 

Furnace Fest is doing the vote for a band thing. I don’t care who you vote for but go submit some cool up and coming bands. We won it in 2023. Godseyes won in 2022. If you are in a band, submit yourself! It’s a great way to get your band in front of some cool people. 

Mystery Merch Boxes - we’ve sold a decent amount! Very happy with the sale so far. If you ordered one, I hope you got stuff you didn’t already have and some good random stuff. Drum heads went out. Some vinyl went out. Some posters went out. 

Movies - this was the first time in 6 weeks I didn’t go to the movies. Some of my favs so far this year: Weapons, Sinners, 28 Years Later. Horror is definitely winning the year so far. I’m still talking about Eddington but I’m not sure I liked the movie. As a band, we watched Zach Snyder’s Justice League (4 hr version). It is so bad.
